Monéjah King, PMHNP-BC
Founder & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and psychosis, while also supporting individuals navigating OCD, PTSD, ADHD, autism (previously diagnosed), and behavioral concerns such as ODD and DMDD in children and adolescents. I work with professionals in high-stress careers, overachievers facing burnout, individuals from underserved communities, and anyone navigating the everyday challenges of life. My approach is collaborative, personalized, and focused on building resilience, improving emotional well-being, and achieving meaningful, lasting change. I provide psychiatric medication management and supportive therapy with compassion and respect for every person I care for. Board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, I completed my graduate education at Walden University in 2022 with clinical training in the Duke University hospital system, and I have worked in mental health since 2017. My focus is the clinically complex, including serious mental illness and underserved and disadvantaged communities, and I bring years of crisis-intervention experience as a former lead provider in a behavioral health urgent care, with admitting and rounding privileges at a hospital near the practice.
